Default Potential Firewall Issue?

I downloaded WPEX today to take advantage of the rake free program. I had no issues downloading or installing, however, when I attempt to open it up, it tells me that I have connection issues. The connection on the site is good and similar to google and yahoo.

I emailed support and they said that my firewall could be up and if so, I should disable it in order to play.

When I looked at my internet connection, it showed a firewall (I have a linksys router).

I do not have this issue connecting to any other site.

so, if you could help a middle age, non-computer ultra savvy guy:

1.) How do I disable the firewall
2.) Is this a wise decision - many homes in the neighborhood have wireless connections (I have the WEP encription so I think that my information is safe)
3.) why would this be the case for this site but not the others?

Thanks for your help with the 3rd grade remedial questions.
