sounds good to me...

I'd suggest buying SNGPT

also, if you still need to learn (and it sounds like you do) I would suggest taking a day or two (I took 2 weeks )...single table and go over each tourney and scrutinize your play..you really don't learn much while multi-tabling.

Nah. Of course you can't tell from your $$-results whether or not you're a winning player, but you should be able to figure it out just by looking at hand histories. Think about looking at even one complete tournament summary (let's say it's a 2nd place finish) from a player. You'd know right away if that player stood a chance at being a long-term winner.

The first thing you need to know is that bubble play is where a lot of money is won and lost in SNGs. This is the area I would concentrate my studies.

Im just finishing HOH II and have really just started playing SNG's. I don't even play the $5's yet but I will very soon. Should I buy SNGPT as well or can that wait till I move up a bit and get some tourny's under my belt?

Not meant to hijack this thread BTW.

it depends on how much money you have..if you can spare the $ I think it's best to get it as soon a possible.

if you can't spare the $ right now..no problem..you should be able to beat the $5 games without it.

just read a lot fo the low buy-in posts asking about pushes and such..that should give you the general feal for it.

just get it when you feel like you can spare the money without risking going broke.

SNGPT is essential to playing SNGs, it has moved me from a marginal winner to a solid winner (it seems) within a span of hours
