A smart bot programmer would be wise to have his bot randomly (say once every 1000 hands) raise with 63o or cold call with 2 complete rags, etc.

Maybe this is why Party doesnt' want to talk about it's detection methods.

I got no way to know if he's telling the truth, but it ain't no troll. I've never seen a troll use correct grammar or spelling. Trolls are always outraged/flamboyant/aggressive or annoying. They're never deliberate or measured.

GrannyMae: do you ever not take the site's side in anything?

[/ QUOTE ]

When you're getting a piece of the action you'd be a fool to rock the boat. Therefore you shill for the sites.

[/ QUOTE ]

u r an idiot.

nothing new, but i just thought i would point that out to others that don't know you.

[/ QUOTE ]

Come on, he is kind of right, you seem to be defending dodgy actions by sites all the time. I put money into Absolute with no problems or requests for info, when I want to take my money back by the same method, I expect it to be just as easy, instead they asked for some crazy amount of documents that I was unhappy to send them, and blackmail me into sending them. Poker sites have been snatching and stealing money since online poker started, often with little or no justification.

We did not open the accounts on the same computer. We spoke on the phone the day we opened the accounts, but we each opened our own accounts. We live about an hour away from each other. I've never logged onto his account from my house, and he doesn't know my password, so he cannot have logged onto my account.

[/ QUOTE ]

My friend has reminded me that the above is not completely accurate. When I opened my account, I was using my laptop on his wireless network. He opened his account the next day from his house, while talking to me on the phone. So both accounts were created from the same ip address.

We have never denied opening accounts with each other. When Logan asked my friend if he knew any other players, my friend told him my name. And when I called Logan, I told him I was calling because of what my friend had told me of their conversation.

At no point were we secretive about our friendship.

Based on the theories this forum has come up with, it sounds like our creating accounts together was amost certainly the initial reason for the investigation. However, I do not know why the situation has gone as far as it has, since I don't think two people openly creating accounts together is enough reason to close accounts and steal money. We have not colluded, and we have not used software to assist our play, and based on the weak arguments that Logan has provided, Party has no reason to think that we have.

I'm still waiting for that phone call that O'Malley promised me.

I have never dealt with a Party rep who would say:

I have never exchanged emails or talked on the phone with a Party rep who would use poker slang. Just go back and look at how the typical investigations team rep talks about the behavior that a cheater might display during the Tealninja thread--it's all stilted language that emphasizes the word "play" a lot.

My thoughts exactly. I also don't know a single non-cheater that has ever had any problems with their funds. I know plenty that are suspicious of the integrity of the sites and the players, but none that have ever been falsley accused of anything or had any cash out troubles including me.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is not true, last month there was a post about smomeone having account locked and funds confiscated because they were receiving rakeback from their affiliate through interplayer transfers.

Yes it may violate the T&C. I wouldn't call it "cheating"

Assuming your story is true, is it possible your friend is running a bot (or some other forbidden program) and so now you are guilty by association?

I've never violated the T&C either. Nor do I know anyone that never violated it and had accounts frozen.

Why is this so hard??? Don't do anything wrong, and this crap won't happen. You guys that don't have a clue where the line is deserve everything you get.

It seems the dribs and drabs are beginning. What else ... ??

Interesting that your friend, who plays just like you, won $35k in three months, but you lost. Mucho variance.

You created your accounts "together". You played on the same table together. Your friend is winning some serious money beating the Mid-High limit games. I'm betting your friend has suspect software somewhere in the picture even if you don't.
