I bet i know what this is. It's probably like some stupidass freeroll, but if two players have straight flushes on the final hand of the tournament, the winner gets $100m or something similarly retarded.

I may be mistaken, but didn't Brunson place a 750million$ offer to buy WPT?

I believe he was the head of a team of investors. There's no way they're running a 100 million dollar tournament with more than two people in it.

And to whoever said below that Doyle has over a few hundred million dollars to blow, think about how unrealistic that is.

Your kidding right. Doyle Brunson is the greatest poker player ever. HE IS A LEGEND. There is no doubt that this skill has made him BILLIONS. Think about it. He is the greatest ever. And, he played in the old texas road games, he isn't another internet wannabee.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've been "thinking about it" and...you're an idiot.

For all the years Doyle has been playing, the amount of $ he's probably made has to be well into the 8 figures. Not 100 million but I'd say it's gotta be a lot more than people think. What's he been playing for, 50 years ? How long has the 4k-8k game been going for, 7 years or so ? That's gotta add up to a [censored] load of $ right there. Negreanu also made a comment about Ivey, saying he would pretty much play any limit, that he ain't afraid of nothing.
