Be prepared to help in plot stuff and verb selection.

You can try Kingdom Hearts. I saw a commercial for it yesterday, it looks pretty tame. Especially when Mickey Mouse and the gang are in it. I dunno what the game play is like, though.

PC is pretty slim pickings for this kind of game.

I just looked at the top 50 PC action games on gamerankings.com, and literally all of them are inappropriate for children. I looked under rated "E," and they all seem to be pretty mediocre.

Some games you might want to consider: LEGO: Alpha Team, Lego Star Wars, Rayman 2, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

I haven't played any of these, though I've heard very good things about Lego Star Wars if she's into that. Good luck!

Monkey Island is absolutely great, I've only played the old ones but if the new ones are of similar quality they should be a sure bet. Just not a lot of jumping around and action play in them.

Kingdom Hearts, like most kid's games these days, is console only.

lucasarts classics

All of these games are excellent, especially Loom and The Secret of Monkey island. Fun puzzle games that are definitely not too easy.
