Default Re: Getting max value

I bring up the check call because it is a viable line against someone who is capable of double barrelling.

With the 3 different lines, what am I representing, and how will villain react?

1) Bet out - I agree with darren on the stack size argument for this. It seems like he has to have an over pair for him to raise me and AK, AQ, KQ will fold 70% of time. So we are making nothing from him the times he folds. Not a good option IMO.

2) We c/rai. The board is very dry, this is a great board for him to fire a c-bet, and he is not folding over pairs to check raises. He also could feel pot committed/put me on a draw and call me with his overs.

3) Check call the flop. If we check, and he c-bets, he is atleast trying to represent an overpair, but overs are definitely a large part of his range here, so when we cold call, we are basically saying, I have a pair, and you are going to have to fire again to get me to fold. Which induces double barrels from hands that are folding to a check raise. Also cold calling allows the big blind to try to get spicy.
