Neither opponent is drawing dead, they can both theoretically draw 2 cards to beat you.
If you were in your opponent's shoes... wouldn't you be happy if the guy showing 472 checked and you got to see 6th with your A23? Based on the calls on 4th I would not be surprised if at least one of them called you on 5th either. 3rd st is a bet, too, I think. |

if one of your opponents can catch a card on sixth which gives them a chance to outdraw you on seventh AND if they will have correct odds for calling a bet on sixth with thier draw, then checking fifth is a mistake i think; since this is a worse scenario than betting and simply winning the pot on fifth. But since i suck at razz ( and poker in general) i might be completely wrong.
Can one of the pros confirm my statement? |
