This is fine I guess, although I"m not crazy about the flop float with zero draw. You have 12 well disguised outs though on the turn as he won't expect the backdoor draws to hit. You could also possibly bluff a diamond river as you've played this just like a diamond flush draw would.

If you are going to float with air, you have to raise that turn.
As played you are pushing any river right? |

I'd rather raise any other card, especially a [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], and call this particular card. I still think floating with complete air (not even a gut shot) is stupid spew. |

ASpoker i really think this is a terrible flop call. this board isn't that scary. even if he has QQ you're gonna probably have to fire turn AND river to get him to fold it. |

The flop float looks spewy. This board hits his range well. He's not usually going to just give up on the turn.
Raising the turn would be rediculous. It would turn a pretty profitable situation into a marginal to -EV situation. |

Guys keep in mind we have nearly 400 more behind after I call the flop, which is four PSBs.
Basically I think the flop call is going to be good if villain defines his hand on the turn somewhat. Do you guys think villain is ever firing a second barrel with QQ/JJ? Probably not, right? Turn raise would be really bad. I doubt I have folding equity and it would kill my implied odds. My outs are very well disguised and he has AA/AK/KK almost every time IMO. |

There's also the problem about the times he plays to check raise the turn and even him check/calling the turn puts you in a horrible spot. You're calling hoping he will do nothing but check/fold the turn, and I don't think much of his range takes that line. |

what else does he have to do to show strengh? 3 betting oop, firing twice on a board that has most like NOT missed him? why would you wanna raise the turn in a spot where semibluffing brings like close to 0 fold equity and forfeit your chance to draw "cheaply"?? even tho i'm a limit player, i think the flopcall isn't that great with no pair/no draw and basically not the slightest showdown value.. but hell.. what do i know
