For some reason I hear: "Winner-winner chicken dinner" a lot when someone hits runner-runner..WTF is that?

[/ QUOTE ]

That's from SportsCenter, right?

One I don't appreciate...guy gets raised preflop and calls. He checks flop, calls bettor. Checks turn, calls bettor. Checks river, thinks forever...shows cards to his buddy (damn, A5 didn't hit again....) then shows his expert folding skills. Best part is buddy's reaction *scrunches face* ooh...shoulda hit. Just fold already.

"Are there any face cards in this deck?" when they've folded three times in a row. Of course, board reads K Q A.

"I got the nuts" when they clearly don't.

When someone doesn't post their blind or puts too few chips in: "What, don't I get a senior / woman's / player's club / degenerate discount?" No, [censored]. You don't.

Total calling station decides to fold for once in her life. Flops hits her cards over the head, like K 2 2. She goes "oh dealer! I had King-deuce!" Saw this mentioned earlier, but I actually believe this particular woman I'm thinking of every time she says it.

"I had the odds" when clearly they have no clue how to spell odds

2 gay things I do

Calling after the flop and stating "gotta call to get to a draw"

2nd sometimes when I have to post my blind Ill complain about how its unfair that "I gotta pay to see my cards and no one else has to"

I love it when two guys check, then the next guy says "I raise" and bets out.

It's the subtle ignorance that gets me.....

Also, OT, but in golf, it's no longer (if it ever was) funny to say "One" when some schlub's ball falls off the tee

[/ QUOTE ]

I heard some TV terminology today, at a limit game.

On the river for $6
"Well I'm pot committed, can't leave my babies out there!!!"

One player is all in with QQ vs donkey's 55
donkey: "Well it's a coinflip, overcards to my fives..."

I forgot this one..when some fish wins a hand after hitting some odd draw and then feels the need to justify his play - they always say something about how they had "pot odds" though its clear they don't have any clue what those actually are. In fact I'd guess 99% of the time I hear the words "pot odds" at a table the person saying them is a fish.

In no limit player bets the pot or so and his opponent asks "Do you want me to call?.

When a player named Fred wins the pot they usually say "Send the bread to Fred".

Here's one that may be Rick Nebiolo specific:

I push all-in post-flop with a potish size bet against one opponent. Opponent tanks while about five of the other players have a conference regarding whether it's a good idea to call or not.
