Hmm...tough one. I think much of the time you see Ax of hearts here, especially at this level. Any other reads on villain?

No reads other then he was 20/4 and that didnt mean much because it was over 25 hands.
Do you really think Ax hearts Check raises the flop then 4 bets all in here? |

A3hearts does this sometimes, as does JThearts. I think you're against a set or top two pretty often though, too.

You're getting almost 3:1 here, but at best you're a 2:1 favorite (unless he's a moron). If he's got a set you're like 9:1 against. So how often does he have to have the draw for you to have a call here? Maybe 3/8ths of the time. Is he semibluffing that often? Probably not.

Standard, but annoying.
JT hearts is a favorite over this hand anyway. 20/4 players don't do this with Ax hearts unless it is A3 hearts and even then they don't call A3 hearts vs a pfr. |

you are better off just calling his raise on the flop

Against JT hearts this is a call even if you're a slight dog. I've been up against QJ in this spot before, but the guy was more like 60/20.

[/ QUOTE ] True, if you knew he had JT hearts, this would be a call. Against a lag, I'd instacall this. FWIW, I'd play JT hearts like this and also a set like this. |
