My suggestion is to remember that getting half a pot sucks. As the previous poster mentioned, remember that if you're drawing to half a pot, you need take into account that you're only getting 50% of the pot if you win. I've done a lot better in the very loose live 3-6 game that I play in once I started once I started going almost exclusively for scoops.
