Default AT hand 2/4

Do you fold it here on the turn ? What is the most likely holding for the Villain ?

The villain is 50/18/0.87 over 62 hands, no other reads yet.

I would c/f that turn probably but a b/f might be better. However I assume he is loose and unaggressive so will probably not bluff here and you can get away with c/f...against an aggressive player this is an easy b/f.

I fold the turn. In fact I think I probably c/f the turn. You don't have anything and the pot is small. It's probably going to cost you 2 bets to see a showdown and your outs aren't all that clean. As far as what a 50 VPIP villain could have here, your guess is as good as mine. Could have a flush draw, TP, 2 pair, set, A high, or even shlock like 45 or 67.

I wouldn't have bothered to bet the turn for them.

I'm pretty sure at this level calling the flop and folding the turn is a beloved line of donkeys like this so I don't think the turn bet is bad.

But a fold is yahtzee!

Easy fold for me. He's not aggressive enough to push a draw here. Plus he called you on the dry flop which means he probably has a piece.

the flop is extremely dry, especially for a cold-calling hand so i think the turn follow-up is fine. it's not often that a preflop cold-caller is the type to factor metagame into their decisions so i doubt they're peeling on the flop to insulate themselves from unabated aggression (here and on later hands). considering that, it looks like a pretty standard bet/fold to me (although i'm still slow to detect a proper use of this play, so be forewarned, of course).

sucks to lose to a small set, i guess...

When I reviewed the hands I thought I should have folded this to turn raise.

In reality I did call down the turn raise. River was a blank and was checked through. Villain showed AJo UI.
