I basically think that all your turn bet is doing is offering attractive odds to a diamond draw.
Don't get fancy - besides, you want to build a pot here. |

Betting the same amount of money on two streets is the kind of thing that'll get me raising a weaker ace here Note that down ;]
On the bright side, he raised his last $5 in on the river w/ A2 so it turned out fine. IF the positions were reversed, would this still be as bad? People from position tend to raise a bit lighter. Or is this all fanciness trying to get him do the job I could do by betting more... How would the situation change if he had a full stack? Would there be way to induce a "bluff" from a weaker ace by representing something like KK- than there would be to just flat out valuebetting. I'm probably trying to overthink a simple situation. And just normal valuebetting would be the best |

If stacks were bigger it may require some maneuvering to get it in. Not the sort that requires you to get check/raised, but some.
Here, a simple Pot Bet/3/4 Bet/Push works perfect. |

Bold assertion. Useful if you can put him on exactly A2, otherwise, rather useless.

Hey guys,
I see hands all the time where my villains call down on a ragged board and then fold to a big river bet. What's going on here? |
