Wow, that's tough. Huard looked like crap last week and the SD defense is one of the best in the NFL. OTOH, the SD offense may be good enough to run up the score, and the defense will relax.
OTOH, OAK has sucked all year long. And the AZ defense shut down CHI last week. So your only hope is that SD has such a huge lead, their defense takes the night off. Pick Huard. |

Some tough decisions here. I planned on starting Rudi every week, but may reconsider. The Panthers run D is generally good but still unpredictable. Even last year when they were really good they let Cadillac & Julius Jones run on them in their house. But still, it's hard to see a big game from Rudi. Palmer is my QB too in this league fwiw.
The Jets run D obviously stinks, but the Lions are generally such a terrible road team that I can see them falling behind 14-0 in the 1st Qtr, so I dunno... Taylor I don't think hits paydirt enough to be a serious consideration. Re: Evans vs. Moss? I know it's fashionable to bash Moss, but he has 2 TD's in 3 weeks and ~85 yards vs. a great Denver defense last week. It's a rare opportunity for the Raiders to win a game IMO, as the Cardinals defensive performance last week I think was a fluke. League 2, Tatum Bell @Cleveland is a no-brainer: Jordan vs. McGahee as my 2nd back I have no idea. |

LJ and Freddy. I think you are required to start LJ every week. And Westbrook and Taylor to me is a toss up. I'm sure most people will say Westbrook but I have a feeling that the Jaguars offense is going to explode again this week against Houston.

Triumph, Are there any other QBs available that have more favorable matchups? [/ QUOTE ] I did have Harrington earlier in the week but dumped him. Favre is also available. The NE pass D hasn't been that terrific so far this year. |

Okay, a couple of questions:
--Eli Manning on the road in Dallas, or a possibly rejuvenated Hasselbeck at home against Minnesota? --LJ (still nursing the neck) against the Chargers stingy D, Maurice Drew against Houston, and Tatum Bell against Cleveland. Of these three, which combination of two looks the best. I love LJ, but you know SD is keying on him, he's still not 100%, and after last week's debacle, I am getting cold feet. The other two are playing two of the worst defenses in the league. I have a showdown w/ division leader for first place this week. He has Bears D and Robbie Gould sitting (over 28 ppg combined). I need this one. Any thoughts are much appreciated. |

Hasselback is very good at home. I'd go with him against a better pass D than Dallas. Without SA in there they will of course be forced to pass.
Eli was not very effective versus Dallas in the 2005 season. In Game 1 at Dallas about the same time last year he had 215 yds passing 1 TD / 1 Int. In Game 2 at home he has 152 yards and 2 Ints. I think you go with Maurice Drew and Tatum. Sucks to bench LJ but it's against an ultra tough SD run D. |
