Just play your over pairs for stacks, he could have anything. Trust me, i beat this level like a redheaded stepchild.

*shrugs* Well i musta found either a lucky donk, or a tricky donk, because i called and they turned over AA.

I would think set or overs and he is trying to discourage draws.

I think you got unlucky with the 5 folds. Any callers in there and villian has to re-raise and you have a better idea where you stand. He had the choice to disguise his hand a bit and wait for you to continue the action.

As played, thin call but wouldn't begrudge a fold. $9 call into a $17 pot is good money for the number of hands you beat.
