Default flush in a paired board against a donk

Villain is 56/28/2.4 after 1000 hands. Very donky. Always wins so maybe he is good after all and is just donk preflop? Very agg. postflop also. Capable of pushing any pp on any board.

yeah I guess the turn call sucks balls and I deserved to lose this one too. I just thought I have good implieds against this overly agg. villain. I should just muck it bc of the pair.

Do many people fold this turn?

I would sometimes, but not very often.

I would fold this ALOT w/o a good read.
I play my draws aggressively but not on a paired board.

Right. The problem is, you have good implied odds only if you are drawing to the nuts or nearly so.

Heads up, you should never call any reasonable size bet (more than 1/2 pot), drawing to a flush or straight on a paired board. Drawing to a flush when heads up is only marginally +EV, anyway. When you throw in the possibility that you might be drawing dead, it quickly becomes -EV. Consider how annoying it is when you ARE drawing to a good flush, but then the flush card, when it comes, also pairs the board. Suddenly, your hands are somewhat bound and you can't make the most out of your catch.

However, in this case, by your own read, you felt he was overly aggressive, which is what gave you more than usual implied odds. Therefore, you have to call the check-raise, here. It might just be him being overly aggressive. That's what you wanted, right? If you didn't want that, then where were your implied odds?
