Best beers

Imports - Modelo Especial, Guinness, Chimay Rouge, Carlsberg, Zwyiec, Budweiser Budvar, Zingu, Sleeman Cream Ale, 1664, Samuel Smiths Nut Brown Ale, Sappporo draft

Man, from above I really have been drinking more imports guess I'll have to branch out and try more American beers

Any beer that someone hasn't mistakenly urinated in is fine for me.
Most of the time I drink Canadian although Keiths on tap has a hard time being beat.

i do enjoy newcastle and smithwicks also.

i tasted the best beers of my life at a belgian tasting event.

Rodenbach and Rodenbach Grand Cru.

They're both extremely delicious sour ales. Good luck finding any, and if you do they'll easily be 60-80/case.

Is the OP out of his mind? There are two types of beers:

1) Good beers that taste really good. Newcastle. Dogfish head. Guiness. Sam Smiths.

2) Beers that are good enough to slam back with your buddies. Beers that are cheaper so you can easily order rounds with your friends. Beers that are light so you don't feel like you're drinking anything heavy. These are the OP's top beers.

I drink both kinds. I'll order up a round of bud or drink some dosXX with a burrito. But if I "drink beer" I am certainly sticking to #1. Who says "damned, this bud light SURE is a tasty beer. Wow?"

It's true that bud and some other domestic beers are popular in Europe. I think that's because:

1) you can drink a lot of them
2) they're foreign, and hence cooler.
3) budweiser has spent zillions marketing them to tap into the global market.

People in Australia laugh at you if you mention Fosters. But Fosters markets heavily over here, so I'm sure there are people who say, "Damn, this aussie beer sure is delicious. Pass me another."

Most stuff from New Belgium and Great Divide breweries. Sam Adams Octoberfest, Blue Moon, Hoegaarden, Ropewalk Amber, most of the Red Hooks, Guinness, Murphys, Cutthroat Porter, Killian's....just the ones I can name in thirty seconds.

All white ales are pretty good.

I think a lot of the foreign beers in this thread taste like bitter horse piss, but whatever. People think it's cool since their "foreign".
