Best beers

Wanted to start a thread to get some ideas on what beers to try. I live in the U.S. and love to drink imports and try all different types of beer. If you're proud of a beer from your country please let OOT know what it be.
Heres mine,
Domestic- Budweiser,Bud light
Imports- Heinekin (amsterdam), Hoegaarden (belgium), , Red stripe (Jamaica), Negro Modelo, dos equis (mexico).

The funny thing about Bud/Bud Light for as much criticism it receives domestically is that people abroad love it. People in countries with much better beer than the U.S. makes can't get enough BUDWEISER.

Anyway, Guinness is the best beer in the world readily available.

It's becoming a bit of a fad here (UK). It's not much worse than most readily available UK lagers (which is to say, awful). Marketing can sell anything, apparently.

[/ QUOTE ] True. When I was in the netherlands this guy told me about belgium beers being the best. He metioned that he loved budweiser from the states but it was hard to get where he was at.
