Well, the looser the game, the higher the varience. Other than that, the looser the game the more profitable.

Read "Small Stakes Hold'em", by Ed Miller. (I'm on my 5th reading and still finding things)

That said, there is something else that can happen in very loose games, so much is happening that some people lose their focus and don't know it. It's the same thing as playing when you're tired, or on tilt.
