D-bag at Denny's

I'm waiting in line at Denny's for maybe about 2 minutes to get seated, and there are 1 or 2 parties ahead of me as well. The hostess is nowhere to be seen, and shortly afterwards 2 men come in and wait behind everyone else.

Eventually, the hostess shows up and says, "okay, so who was here first?" She recognizes the first group and put their name down. The guy behind me raises his hand and bellows "Steve, party of 2". The hostess starts writing down his name.
