There used to be a 1/2lhe game downtown in Vegas, but can't remember where.

2/4 will not go away. I was in a 3/6 game at the Fitzgerald and people came by, asked the stakes, and said they wanted to play 2/4. That's unlikely to change.

The point is that it will change..

There was a time when a .25/.50 game would have more "money" on the table than a current 3/6. Inflation keeps going, money keeps losing value.

One day the rake from 2/4 (and 3/6) will not be worth the space the tables take.

The question is when..

I've used this reasoning to argue that the buyin of the WSOP ME should be raised, but that still hasn't happened in over 35 years.
