If you are taking anything but cookies in exchange for your donated platelets you are doing it wrong and so are the people collecting it, imo. If you find a blood bank that only deals with unpaid volunteer donors you should run into considerably fewer crackheads.

That said, my friends always ask me how much I get paid to "donate," which always baffles me as much as BHMDYL.
