I don't know why people play tournaments but as far as cash games go, despite there being a risk of shady business (collusion, bots, etc.), I still make a lot of money playing. I also (*gasp*) enjoy playing poker.

If things get bad to the point where I can no longer play profitably or do not enjoy poker any more, I'll make a change.
