What would you do with your life if you had unlimited time, talent, and support from friends and family?

Whatever the answer is, pursue that thing passionately for at least the next 5 years.

I would like to be a professional golfer, but I won't. I think pursuing that for 5 years would be a huge mistake.

Evan - an assistant pro at a good club has a pretty great life.

I used to work at a golf course, being an assistant pro just doesn't appeal to me very much. Being a club pro would, but you can't just jump right into that; not to mention the fact that even when I was playing a ton of golf in high school I was probably never better than a 4-5 index.

I love golf and I like teaching things I enjoy, but I just don't have the talent to take it past an entry level career. I'd get more pleasure out of doing something I can be very good at.
