[ QUOTE ]
Do you enjoy doing what you do for a living? As for me, I'm currently a software developer and considering quitting and going back to college for a change in career. [/ QUOTE ] I place people like you in the Phoenix area. If you like people and money, you should consider a transition to technical recruiting. Most of the best in our industry come from a technical background...if you have the personality for it it's a tremendous competitive advantage over some sales guy who couldn't spell "DBA" if you spotted him the D and the B. Recruiting is sales without the selling; you have something everyone wants (opportunity) and it doesn't cost them anything. There are crappy recruiting firms, but if you find the right one, it's a great job to have.
