Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 5 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls. Flop: (4.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls. Turn: (4.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls. River: (6.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero ??? BB is 33/9.7/1.3 Do we throw out one more bet here, or check behind? For a not-overly-agressive villain to come out betting the flop I'm figuring he likely made top pair, and really don't like the look of the river card. It's pretty obvious though from my posting this that I didn't bet and that I was ahead - this time. Is there usually any value in betting in this spot? |
