This is due to Dodgers hitting coaches telling Choi to shorten his swing. This will stop in Boston.

Look at his isolated OBP and isolated SLG values. If he can pick up his batting average after dealing with the [censored] hitting coaches over in Atlanta, he will be a very valuable asset.
