Default QQ Preflop

First villain is tilt-shoving, he has two cards.

Second villain just won a large pot with top and bottom, he is loose passive and does not seem particularly good, this is the first time he has made this sort of a move preflop and I am about 70% sure he is making an isolation raise with a somewhat marginal hand.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

SB ($77.05)
Hero ($31.45)
UTG ($12.15)
Button ($34)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $12.15</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $24.05</font>, Hero shoves or waits for a better spot?

If you're that sure SB's got a marginal hand (meaning one you're well ahead of) you have to push here. Even if you're slightly ahead of his AK UTG's overlay makes this a profitable situation.

If you trust your read, you have to go in here.

on the other hand, why didn't he just raise 10 more to cover you too? if he seems like the kind of player that puts thoughts into the size of his raises it might be a warning but i still don't think you can get away.

Given your read, its a call. Just pray and overcard doesn't pair one of their likely holdings.

Well, not super marginal. I put a hand range into pokerstove and this is what I came up with:

7,171,333 games 18.360 secs 390,595 games/sec

Board:
Dead:

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 32.3435 % 31.52% 00.82% { TT+, ATs+, KQs, AdKh, AQo-ATo, KQo }
Hand 2: 16.1691 % 15.84% 00.33% { random }
Hand 3: 51.4874 % 50.78% 00.71% { QQ }

Any comments after the equity analysis by pokerstove? I am confident this is an accurate hand range.
