Even with the nut draws I lost both flops when villian pushed.

I dont know, I tend to agree with him, I put a range of hands into pokerstove that included 22,55,A2,A5,34s,suited heart connectors and one gappers along with a few random hands or so and my equity was right at about 40%.

Exactly. While our hand may look good the chances are greater that we are behind, not ahead.

Then what would you do this hand? This guy was mined but I had never played. First hand together.

Thats a different story since for one thing you might be dead to 2 outs instead of 7.

True but in both cases the villian pushes for around 100BB on the flop and in both cases we are holding strong hands.

Honestly, OP can call this flop push and there is no harm done but I think the majority of the time he is JUST drawing to a flush and is behind.

I've had unknowns do similar things to me 2 or 3 times the last few days and each time they've had like 99 no hearts.

Yours is a much tougher spot. Villain is pretty aggro so I lean toward a call here. With his stats I can see TPTK, OESD, 2Pair, set. I think it's close, but I prob still call. I play a pretty high variance style vs a 27/20/4 opponent.

On OP's hand I can't begin to find a fold.
