I hate having a tiny BR. Just played a $3.30 MTT for over 4 hrs, 13th = $20.55 profit.

bengiec,

This is sort of random, I actually meant to tell you this a while back after you posted a bunch of hands. Just a bit of constructive criticism... the last couple of times you posted a bunch of hands, I remember thinking that it looks like you try to win every pot you play. Maybe that's the case, maybe it isn't, I just remember thinking that it might be and that's probably because when I first transitioned to cash that's how I played - if I was in a pot, I tried to win it. There were soooo sososo many times I would make a super-spewey play just because I knew I couldn't win the pot if I check/folded.

I have no idea why I took that mentality into cash games, but I wonder now if it had to do with the fact that I played 93478034 SNGs before I transitioned to cash. So my early level raising range was ridic tight, but I won most of the pots I played, so I just wonder if that upbringing gave me a 'I should win every pot I raise preflop' mentality.

Anyway, I digress. It takes some getting used to but it's ok to get away from hands in cash, even if you 3bet preflop or raise and cbet, or what have you. Getting away from hands when you should will help your overall earn just as much as value betting and making good calls.

So take that long rant for what it's worth, I just think you have the potential to be a good cash player, I just remember a few posts you made in last month's [censored] thread where you spewed in a lot of really bad spots and I think if you stopped doing that you could have a decent winrate at cash.
