[/ QUOTE ]I guess you lose. I was tested before the internet as most know it, was around. I also have taken those silly online ones, and get in the 160s.

30.7998/Sqrt(126.07) = 2.743 * 1.96 = +/- 5.38 so there is a 95% chance your real winrate falls between 6.35 and 17.11.

I'm pretty sure that is correct,

Well actually confidence and SD etc, play very well to shorter samples. You don't need them much when you have 500K hands cause the results are the results. And btw, this is very interesting to me. After all, I'm sitting on this winrate and am feeling pretty confident in it. I'm pulling in another 12PTBB/100 session as we speak.

What he gave isn't even an equation.

Uh... yes it is. What the heck would you call it?

rvg did the calculation right, although his work looks a bit weird.

Of course, remember that 12k hands isn't really enough to get a very random sample.

That's very prescient to know the winrate on a session before it has finished. He must see the coolers coming!

Absolutely no way in hell 13k hands is 90% accurate. By far, the dumbest thing you've come to say.
