Are you really playing this hand forward hoping that you make a boat??? You are either going forward now with the hand cause you think you are ahead or have a good idea you can win the pot later. You are not playing this hand cause you are going to hit one of your magical outs.

Tough one, but you say he's new to the table and bought in for 5k and now only has 3k... has he burned through 2k that quickly?? If so, sounds like he's donking it up quickly, and it wouldn't surprise me if he was doing this with any decent Ace. I don't know his history though, but from what it seems... it'd be a tough laydown. I'd probably call and tread lightly throughout unless he gives his hand away on a later street.

this is a classic way ahead or wayy behind hand. his pf action is generally big pair, it just depends on what he considers a big pair to be (maybe even TT for some people). his flop bet looks like he either hit big or missed big. a call is mandatory, i would accompany it w/ a sigh or poker clack to help ward off a big turn bluff.
