So what's the deal with Leon Washington in NYJ? Is he starting this week, or is Barlow? Should I be playing him?

[ QUOTE ] Play Galloway dude; how is that close? [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Joey Galloway: 21 rec, 346 Yds, 16.5 Avg, 2 TDs - 45 FPTS Lee Evans: 36 rec, 417 Yds, 11.6 Avg, 1 TD - 45 FPTS Donald Driver: 26 rec, 343 Yds, 13.2 Avg, 1 TD - 40 FPTS I'd say it's close. Galloway has the best matchup. Evans has been performing the best lately. Driver has the reputation. Right now I'm leaning Galloway solely because of the matchup. |

droughns vs den
or turner @ KC Rushing Attempts (.2) Rushing Yards (10 yards per point; 5 points at 100 yards) Rushing Touchdowns (6) also, i'm playing the league doormat this week and should win pretty easily. I think this makes droughns the play because of the amount of carries each will have. Lower risk/reward but i dont' need anything huge this week. |

Droughns(vs Denver) or Mike Jenkins(vs Pitt)
It's a flex position. Standard scoring. Bye week this week is killing my. Oh and in another league do I play Maroney(@ Buffalo) or Mo Morris(vs Vikings)? |

Right now I'm leaning Galloway solely because of the matchup. [/ QUOTE ] Of course you should be. I'm not saying the 3 receivers aren't close in value this year, that's not my argument. They are close, fantasy value-wise. Let's look closer at the matchup: The O/U is 43, a field goal higher than the MIA/GB game and a full TD higher than the BUFF/NE game, so there figures to be more scoring right off the bat. Second, let's think about how the game will play out. It's likely that Philly will take a decent-sized early lead and TB will have to play catch up by throwing the ball in the 2nd half. Phily's pass defense can't stop anyone and Tampa will likely have to throw the ball a lot, so that's a pretty good combo. Also, Jon Gruden loves what he sees in the kid Gradkowski. He's really improved and put up decent fantasy numbers over the last 2 weeks. These numbers only figure to get better as the season goes on IMO. He'll be given plenty of chances to throw the ball here and show what he's got even if Philly blows them out. Plus, Galloway's the most talented of the receivers. Driver sucks this year and is banged up. And Evans only had 89 yds against the worst pass defense in the league (Det) last week. Not to mention he was held to 2 catches for 25 yds. week 1 @ NE. Those are all the reasons I feel it's a very easy choice. |

Jenkins might catch a long TD pass so if you are playing a tough team you might want to gamble on him considering Droughns will likely a)not score a TD and b)not get a lot of yards against the tough Denver D. Jenkins at least has the possibility of a big game. Droughns will absolutely not score in double-digits unless Plummer fumbles inside his own 20 and the Browns somehow score a short rushing TD.
Maroney against Buffalo and it's not even close. Minnesota has the number 5 run defense in the league and Mo Morris sucks so bad Seattle threw almost every down last week. Look for more of the same this week. |

Re: 34
This is exactly the type of analysis I was looking for. Thanks a bunch. |

Bulger is on a bye in my other league. Leinart or Garrard?
ETA: Uhhh, nevermind. Leftwich is active so Garrard is too risky. |
