whitelime: WTF? Of course I realize that. Did you even read the initial post? If so, read it again.

ZJ: I think he is just jealous because you look so good naked and would not have a drink with him because you had to go party with your posse in Atlantis.

What about 5/10 6-max? I think that a lot of the play there is very advanced. I can understand 5/10 10-max being considered medium stakes still though...

[/ QUOTE ]

This is a joke right? How many hands have played at 5/10 6m? After about 20k, I would say you have probably encountered any and every possible situation you could with 100xbb. There is nothing left to think about, there is no "advanced" play when you have 100xbb.

er, then 50/100 with a 10k stack is not advanced either. there's tons of hands with deeper than 100bb involved at 5/10, just as there is at higher stakes. i'm not saying that 5/10 should be high stakes necessarilly, i'm just saying your reasoning here isn't the best example for why you could choose.

ALL: why are you guys saying outlaw posts with no reads....most of the time I have no reads as is. If I was wondering what to do I wouldn't have necessary reads. Most of the time when people post the reads they have, people tend to overplay how important those reads are. Example, "hero has somewhat a lag image", therefore the debate turns into CALL CALL CALL THEY THINK YOU ONLY PLAY JUNK, when that's probably not the case b/c a lot of your opponents won't actually have good reads despite how obvious you think it is.

Zeejustin: people hate on you b/c you have made a LOT of money playing poker, more money than the haters. And they feel they are better than you b/c they might be slightly better than you at nl cash which is just 1 form of poker (albeit the best form). However you clean their clocks at tournament poker and sit n go poker, which is how you made your money. Don't let them get you down though, b/c in no time you will dominate nl cash just like you dominate all other poker you try.

Why do the 2+2 forums exist? This is a serious question.

Obviously, the attempt to improve the quality of posts is working and has benefited most. However, this could become a slippery slope where influential posters could shape the forum into what serves them the best.

I think there should be clear and distinct criteria for classifying the forums and they should be based on the stakes, not the complexity of the hands. The game changes at every level and therefore some people still need basic line checks at 5-10 and above.

So why suggest ... "People w/ interesting hands can use their judgement as to when something at lower stakes is interesting enough to post in this forum."

Btw, I agree with most of your post. We just need mods to sort the stuff out.

I don't like the 5/10 or 10/20 posts where no reads are provided and no mention of the poster's image. Those are basically dumb hands and are pretty pointless. The stakes aren't so important, since 5/10 hands can be interesting too if basic information is provided.

[/ QUOTE ]

So you basically don't like any of my posts

I think non-read posts are the BEST because I never have reads.

I'm only slightly joking.
