Bax and I do not agree to chop headsup, although if we have even stacks we might. We do not soft play each other. We bubbleeach other in 1k sngs, 500 sngs, and every other thing...Softplaying, besides being unethical, is bad for business and bad for karma and just plain bad.

I think the $1100s are beatable. Not saying I'm the one to do it because I hate SNGs, but I definitely think they're beatable.

and yes, everyone on this forum (perhaps except curtains and newt buggs) say alot of stupid [censored] on this forum constantly (mostly not relating to strategy, tho). no one is immune to it. that's one thing i have learned for sure. [/ QUOTE ] Nah, curtains posts random retarded stuff like the rest of us now. We've corrupted him finally. Newt_Buggs just posts about curtains. |

I just switched from Party to mostly Stars. Chopping was never even an issue on Party, but yesterday on Stars I got heads up in a 335 vs. a Stars regular with even chips, and after at first saying no, I agreed to chop so we could both concentrate on other games. I didn't really see anything wrong with it, as we both had played all out up to that point, and at high blinds it's pretty much a crapshoot anyway. But does anyone think that is unfair or in any way the wrong thing to do? Since I never came across it on Party, I haven't really thought about it, but I'd definitely want to do things the right way. Thanks...

Agreeing to chop isn't the issue, it's the possibility of a standing, prearranged agreement to chop that makes people nervous.

[ QUOTE ]
fwiw, I see no reason any of the good 2+2ers...all 5 of them... couldnt have at least 3% roi in the $1000s...Also, some people dont mind swings, as they dont mind risking the 150k bankroll or whatever you need to play that game with a small roi. I'll be there in 3 months after I get 100k online again. From what I have seen in the alst week, the "good" stars players play about as well as the breakeven party people, so I see no reason why most anyone couldnt make at least some profit if they know how to play. [/ QUOTE ] Hey, I never said 3% wasn't possible of course Get ready for the swings from hell though. |
