why do a complete revision of how good is your limit hold them then doing a true sequal?

I just recieved your book and i am working throug the excerises. I love it .
I would rather have a sequal then have to go out and buy a book that half of it has the same material i have now.

what are the reasons for a complete revision as opposed to a sequal considering that you are going to double the size of the first book?

Yeah. Kind of agree.

I guess I'm going to have to get the revised copy because it sounds like it will practically contain a whole new book within it...even though it will also be a repeat of the copy I already have.

I agree too. Replace all existing hands and then add some more. That way existing readers will buy it too.

Good point. My idea was to update and expand the first book but maybe a sequel is a better idea. I will consider this. Thanks to everyone for the input.

It is the chess way to do stuff ... reprint a book and add some new games to make it interesting, so it sells (too bad you can't call it The World Champion Edition)
