Wow,
He doesn't have to go over there and say "its ok if you want to screw the poolboy when I'm at work, I'll still marry you." But he needs to do more than "bitch cheated on me, its over, I'm leaving, period."

[/ QUOTE ]

What exactly would that be? It takes 2 people to work it out. All I see is one whore blatantly cheating, and then being she gets caught, doing everything she can to try to get him to do some thing violent. There's nothing fixable here. Looks like she did it on purpose to be honest.

...but he HAS to try.

His first step should probably be to try to find out what is actually going on.

[/ QUOTE ]

While I'm sure this girl owes OP several apologies over whatever the story is.

I think its important to the situation that the OP sees his own need to apologize to her for his actions here.

he kicked a door and left the apartment (smart move, very!) once he basically confirmed his babby momma was cheating on him. WTF kind of apology does he owe?

again, KICKED A DOOR. do you guys realize how much it hurts to have someone you care about betray you in the most intimate of ways?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes I do.

and while I was wronged in some big ways, I also WRONGED in the middle of it.

Their [censored] behavior doesn't justify ours.

Theirs is wrong.
OURS is wrong.

He may not have done anything HORRIBLE wrong

but if any reconciliation here is to take place
(and MUST take place for the kid's sake)
OP has to apologize too.

Once the agner subsides a little, this will hopefull be more clear.

disagree if you want. I feel like I have a moral point, and am not going to get into an arguement over it.

Ex-mrs. sekrah ?

He can say: I'm sorry you're a whore.

He can say: I'm sorry my child's mother is a whore .

FYP, this will hurt her more, and inflicting the maximum pain upon her should be the goal.

I didn't realize talking to another man on the phone was such a betrayal. What if she hasn't cheated on him, how should she feel being accused of that when innocent?

Again, OP would probably be best served to find out exactly what is going on before proceeding. Maybe she cheated on him, maybe there's something else she's hiding, maybe there's a totally mundane explanation for the whole thing and it just spiraled out of control. But he should probably find out for sure before he starts moving out.

In any case this relationship sounds pretty [censored]. OP sounds like a bit of a hothead (probably isn't the first time they've had a fight like this), and he doesn't seem to trust her. Is the kid the only reason you're still together? Is there anything more to the story that we should know?

Anyway, I'll try to sit quietly and wait for the finale...

All,

It's too bad we don't have a female perspective here to chime in for the defense of OP's gf. There used to be a she-poster here who would be all over this and the whore comments like white on rice, but she doesn't post here anymore or supposedly even read OOT.

What? obv no. whatever

I think its important when reconciling with important for both sides to get everything in the open and apologize for whatever wrongs they have done.

obv OP didn't wrong first or biggest, but that doesn't mean he didn't wrong.

whatever - I'm not trying to dish it out on poor OP here

OP - take or leave my points, up to you. I know its hard to hear in anger.

Sorry for the situation man. I feel for ya.
