Wow, I think every single decision you've made so far has been wrong.

Edit: Except for not taking your daughter. That would have been a mess.

I think OP did fine. He didn't do anything violent, didn't break anything, he didn't even tell the slutbag what a rotten cuntwhore she was. He grabed some stuff and got the hell out of there when it became obvious the bitch had done him dirty.

[/ QUOTE ]

There were some words and yelling but it wasn't nonstop berating.

There was nothing broken and I've never hit her once in the 5 years we've been together.

Do you have any idea what Daddy leaving does to a 4 year old? For the rest of their life?

You need to get back there and try to fix this and try to minimize the damage to your kid.

[/ QUOTE ]

no, he doesnt.

do you have any idea what it does to a kid growing up with a daddy who doesnt have a spine?

dan,

That is why OP should do the following:

1. Accept whatever BS excuse the ex-fiance eventually gives.
2. Buy 5 crack rocks in separate baggies.
3. Put them in ex-fiance's car.
4. Call police from pay phone when fiance is out one evening.
5. Wave when she gets sentenced for possession w/ intent.
6. Win custody.

J

honestly what I would have done is just ignored/pretended I didn't know what was up, and got up later after she fell asleep, checked call logs/checked her pc, etc etc. Wouldn't have been hard to do.

[/ QUOTE ]

And at the end, how is this a better outcome? I don't see that it makes much difference, and if you can bring off talking about it without going apeshit then it serves you better if she isn't cheating on you.

Why do I feel there is a "Gotcha!!!" somewhere near the end of this story?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm with you. Who would tell this story this way if it really is what he's making it appear to be?

so how does this story end?

[/ QUOTE ]

I leave. I drive around for a while just blowing steam. I get hungry. Goto Sheetz. Get a Pretzel Melt and a soda. Drive around a little while longer.

My parents live 10 miles away, I decide to head out there to crash for the night, but I remember that they just went away on vacation and they have alarms set up that would go apeshit if I tried to open the door (they got burglarized a couple years back).

They have an large camper in a storage area nearby, I drive to there but its locked, I slide open an unlocked window next to the door, and reach in and unlock it from the inside. I crash in the camper for the night.

But holy [censored] man.. finding it out in front of her when one second all is good and then your world gets turned upside down.. that's a major kick in the gut.

[/ QUOTE ]

Unless he and his ex-to-be are both very volatile people, there's been more going on that would lead to such a sudden explosion of mistrust and anger over a weird phone call.

I think it's awesome that a sketchy-acting probable whore and a rage-filled dude like yourself are popping out babies. Hope her therapy goes well.

[/ QUOTE ]

Its pretty easy to judge from behind a monitor. I'd love to see how you handle a situation like this.

[/ QUOTE ]
He started by yelling at her which shut her up. He kicked at the door and probably yelled more when she locked herself in. He considered taking his daughter with him.

He basically maximised his chances of never figuring out exactly what happened and ruined any chance that this poor kid could have of them staying together or on good immediate terms

[/ QUOTE ]

Who [censored] cares what actually happened, what would you want, a video? Its very obvious to anyone who's ever been in a relationship what's going on. The chances of them staying together were precisly 0 when the slutbag decided to get some on the side. You're an idiot.
