[ QUOTE ]
Hmm...you could be bluffing [/ QUOTE ] Possible, but when you call someone who hasn't been out of line simply because they might be bluffing, that's a pretty good sign that it's a bad call. [ QUOTE ] overplaying KQ-KJ [/ QUOTE ] I, or any decent player for that matter, never have those hands in this spot. Anyways, I figure he has a real hand (JJ+, AK, AQ) about half the time, and he is simply squeezing the other half the time. I think this guy continues on the flop with most of his botched squeezes, as I have seen him do before. If we can get him to fold all squeezes, AQ, JJ, 70% of QQ, and 30% of AK/AA, then this move is definitely +EV. Obviously I disagree with the earlier comment that he won't lead with AQo/junk into a K-high flop 3-ways. |

Secondly, i've played my hand like a set and I think I have fold equity on AA/AK, no? [/ QUOTE ] No. And I don't think you played it like a set. Most players would milk a set, rather than push on that bone dry flop. Just as most players will insta-call your push with AA/AK there getting 2-1. Maybe you got him to fold JJ or something, though, but it's an overall bad play. |

this is pointless, you understand that? you can't ask "is this an ok way to play KTo?". dig up that old shania post from sredni whatshisname and you'll get my point. i'm guessing someone can link it...

[ QUOTE ]
Seriously, if you're villain w AK how do you call this? What are you beating? [/ QUOTE ] lolol. umm, 88? i actually didn't mind hand 2 if he is repopping you a ton since you might occasionally fold out 99-QQ and you often have the best hand. but thinking he might fold AK is just wowsers. |
