$200 game.

Stakes aren't always indicative of entertainment.

Sure, on LATB, in general, the higher stakes are more entertaining -- but that's because the players are. Think about it: if these guys were playing the $25-$50 game and you had Barry, Corp. Mike, Mo, Riverboatking, H.Russ, etc. etc. playing THIS game, don't you agree that the latter would be more entertaining?

Stakes are ultimately irrelevant -- give me a riveting $200 game any day of the week over a snorefest $5000 game.

Bart:

re: West Wing

It is amazing and will go down as one of the greatest shows of all time. Tuch, you do not know what you are missing. I'm so far from Mr. Politics but the writing and characters on the show are top-notch. It's up there with Sopranos, Six Feet Under, and 24 as being one of the best shows in the last decade ... and will last the test of time.

Good. I got past the debacle of my my girlfriend insisting that I include her on all my Mother's Day plans despite her never having a kid nor being pregnant. (I cracked about two weeks ago, got her a real nice gift, and took her out with my mom and grandmother.)

Other than that, same ol' same ol'...

I'm not sure how this applies to what I said...

Saying something is a "$200 game" isn't an answer to whether the show is interesting or not. Yes, you may play in this show every day of the week. I play at Foxwoods every other day, but that doesn't mean I can peg any stakes as entertaining over any other without seeing the players.

Stakes don't make for great viewing; the players in that game do.

Actually, one of the best Bike episodes was Kenna James donking it up (on purpose) in a low limit limit game, the one where the deck hit him over the head like a ton of bricks. So funny.
