Default Re: Duke Lacrosse Team Story

[ QUOTE ]
Natalie Holloway was a sweet white pretty all american upper class girl from Alabama or wherever who disapeared and may have been raped and murdered.

If we switched Natalie holloway and made her a sweet black pretty poor all american girl from Ingelwood...the story would have been off the TV in about a week or two.

Anybody who doesn't believe this is true is either stupid or incredibly naive.

The bigger question here is the entire Duke Lacross team being silent. A majority probably had nothing to do with the rape but know who did.
If I was running that school and it turned out a rape did occur..I'd kick the entire team out of school.

How would a poor black girl afford to go to Aruba on a post graduation vacation? Any american teenage girl getting lost over there would be a big story.

Im sure the lawyers for the members team have told their clients to shut their mouths for the moment.

White women get raped all the time by black men. None of those make national news. The only reason this is getting national press is because its a sports team and so ESPN is covering it, and we are all sports fans. I have many friends who don't really follow sports and none of them have heard of this. Just like they haven't heard about any of the other countless rapes that happen everyday across the country. News outletts main concern is ratings. If a story will get ratings, they report it.
