its all relative, someone who dominated an era in say the 50's may have not done steroids but what did he do to gain that edge to put him above the competition?

see, steroids is just basically apart of the evolution of what has happened for so many years. players way back when did what they did to gain a small statistical edge and guys today take steroids (they took steroids 40 years ago too) to have a SMALL not LARGE statistical edge.

so you can't compare the numbers of a steroid user to the numbers of an assumed non-steroid user, you simply do not have the data to make any correct judgements as to what is correct. everything you can come up with is assumed.
