Default Re: Wedding Crashers - Is that possible?

[ QUOTE ]
In any wedding of a decent size there are always people there who you or bride are like, "I thought they were on your side."
"I don't know them. I thought they were on YOUR side."

When I got married there were people on my side that I didn't really know at all (family friends from wherever, somebody's date, whatever).
My wedding had a significant number of people though.

I haven't seen the movie and don't know about crashing...but I can't imagine it would be that hard.

I think you'd get caught at the dinner if you tried this (assuming it's assigned seats). Just tough to get around this problem.

That said, given the drunken, fun ambiance of weddings, even if caught, you may avoid getting kicked out. The bride may be too focused on other things to bother having you removed, and the groom probably wouldn't care.

Best bet would be to skip everything and sneak into the tent after the dinner is done. By then everyone is migrating to the dance floor, and all the chicks are loaded, so you can get right to work. Why bother with small talking strangers and stressing out over possibly getting caught. When everyone is hammered, you're in the clear, and this is the best part anyway. Do you really need to hear the dragging, 40 minute best man speech about the time the two of them got busted for shooting spit balls in study hall?
