2+2 is the ~2500th most viewed website on the whole f-in internet!! Around october it was ranked ~1000!! The suggestions in this thread are all great, but why in gods name does it take a forum member to suggest 'hey guys, you could probably make a [censored] more money from this site', to which he is responded 'oh really, like how?'.
Am i getting this right? There is one guy (mat sklansky) working in a little office who essentially runs this site? This isn't some small town deli run by sergio and his son steven.
In so many ways 2+2 is pretty terrible. The archives are split into old and very old, with old being filled with so much great quality but so very hard to access. Is there even a link to the archiveserver.twoplustwo archives? The searching once you get there is a joke.

www.twoplustwo.com page looks like it was designed in 1989. Then there are major inconsistencies, as someone mentioned, in the font and design. It all seems so amateur. I don't really know anything about it, but how much could it cost to pay someone to at the very least bring some consistency to twoplustwo, and make it feel like a site. At the moment it is a collection of pages.
More should be done to bring the community together. Things like that idol contest are great ways to do more for the community. At the moment there are some really great relationships between forum members, but not as a result of anything 2p2 has really done (other than exist).
