Totally besides the point. But yes, I did tour the campus as a high school senior.

secondly, its not the cops job to try to determine if he really is a student or not, they already gave him that oppurtunity (student ID). At that point, asking him to stand up doesn't seem like an infringement on his rights.

He was on his way out. The cops basically stopped him and grabbed him. Do they have reasonable suspicion that a crime has taken place? (trespassing argument is weak, he was obviously a student and on his way out) .. I really don't know how many times I can point this out.
