I would hold off on telling your boss, this is highly dependant on your relationship with them, and what you do. You can't untell them, and you might regret it later when things get better. Just a thought.

Update and trip report.
Talked to my boss, he's very understanding and fully supportive, so that already makes things much better. Talked to our Doc, he set me up with a psych consult and gave me a prescription to see how that might help. Go back next friday for a follow up. Thanks for all the great advice on here, knew it was right to post, and it actually helped me to open up with the Doc.
