jesus. do u think its possible he has a 9 and figures u are chopping it up... he pushes when the board pairs supersystem style to try and get u off half?

That's what I was thinking to justify a call. Looking back on it, I kind of doubt he would raise the river with a lone nine on a paired board. I was thinking he could have had a set here but I also thought he could have had an overpair, 2 pair on the turn, a nine, or some type of pair + draw. I was playing a lot of tables and lost focus for a second but hated the bet I made. I am thinking now I should have bet less with four cards to a str8 out to get calls from weaker hands and leave myslef room to fold comfortably to a raise if I thought I was beat, as long as I make the same bet with a full house enough of the time. AS I played it I did lay myself a great price but I also showed a ton of strength and he still pushed all in - Since he just called the turn then pushed the river this seems consistent with a full house. A nine seems a lot more likely to raise the turn instead of the river if he thought the nine was a great card. I guess it's possible he could have been doing the super / system style play to get me off a nine but seems pretty unlikely. Also, maybe checking the river would not be so bad the way the hand played out not sure. I'm still a little unclear on this one but it seems like if I can fold to his raise comfortably after making a river bet, then a bet seems good still not sure how much to bet. Most of the pots were not going to showdown + he seemed like he was playing pretty solid at the time.
