Re: 400NL Can I make him fold his KQ?

Why do you minraise UTG? Not likely, btw.

Re: Set vs flush?

[ QUOTE ]
Just because it is an overpush it looks much more like two pair or some sort of combo draw with a club, I call here. If he were to raise to like $625, IMO that'd be way tougher spot but...

Re: Set vs flush?

Do you often raise cbets with flushdraws in positions?
If villain knows you don't, this is a very good spot for him to bluff.

If you do it often it's probably a fold.

Re: Turn shove bluff in position

Why is everybody shoving flushdraws on the turn these days? I always snapcall and they always hit!!!

Re: 2 hands w/ JJ I\'m lost

In the first hand I would just call the minraise without reads, because of his low aggression factor he probably has a combodraw or a set, so you're a dog versus his range.
I doubt he ever bluffs...

Re: Do you like my c/r on flop with a combo draw in a pot with limperz

I prefer to lead too. The big check/raise is screaming 'I have a combo draw, please get it in on the flop, or fold'.

Btw, did he have the nut flushdraw?

Re: QQ OOP faced a raise on a low card flop

Looks good. If you 3bet flop, you fold out all hands you beat, it also isn't likely he's drawing.

Re: 5/10 JJ in blinds

Try to get it in on the turn!
He has a 7 or a pair lower than yours most of the time, and he probably won't fold.

(Also 3bet preflop)

Re: J10 flops top pair call river overbet from possible missed draws?

[ QUOTE ]
Alternative line: bet 60% on flop and 60% on turn, and c/f river?

[/ QUOTE ]
First you give straight and flushdraw good odds, then you fold when they miss and bluff???

Re: J10 flops top pair call river overbet from possible missed draws?

Against this player you have too call and make a note.
Also, bet the turn and buy in full.

Re: Trips weak kicker

He could have a weak King and he could have a full house or a straight, very player dependend.

I would lead turn for $60 and fold to a raise.

Re: AK good check on turn?

I bet like $90 on the flop and play turn/river the same.

Re: meh spot with QQ

On a non-PT (passive european??) site 4bets probably only get called/raised by KK and AA, unless you got a very aggressive preflop image.

Calling is clearly best.

Re: live 2-5 hand

Yes, he can continue with an overpair, because 3bets on boards like this are very often bluffs.
Against a weak-tight player it's fine, but against a good TAG it's very spewy.

Re: 400NL - KK on Q board

I only fold this to someone with an aggression factor below 1 and I only call when it's really deepstacked. In this case easy push.

Re: 1/3/6 NL with tricky situation with trips

Instafold without a read. This is K9, Q9, or A9 most of the time.

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

Villain will probably flatcall with AA or AxKh. Also, I think a not positional aware 40/11 is capable of minraising JTs+ UTG.
Most donks are obsessed with making flushes and play very scared when...

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

I really don't understand the 'easy call' responses. Fish minraise suited broadways UTG and like too make small bets with flush draws, too pick up the pot cheaply, or see a cheap turn. He has a hand...

Re: Live 2/4 Awkward Two Pair

It is live, so i would go with my read. Do you think 2 was thinking about folding before he called, or was it the typical 'I have a straight, lets appear weak' kind of thinking?

Most people would...
