Re: AQs $2NL

I won, he had Ag offsuit. I wasn't worried with the results, but was feeling my play was shoddy.

Thanks, everyone, for the advice, and I hope I can put it to much better use.

Re: Is there my mistake?

When Villain called on the flop it was 11big bets already in the pot, and he could call with 2. (5.5-1) Odds to hit are 12-1 for the inside straight draw, but thinking of implied odds, if SB bets his...

Re: 200 NL, KK in a sick spot, 200+ BB deep.

I don't play at these stakes very often at all, why did you bet only 3/4 of the pot on the flop? Do you often do that with over pairs after re-raising to 13BB PF?

Re: AQs 2NL

Oh...ok. I wasn't aware, thank you for the clarification, there.

Thanks, CmnCwnWrkn. Raising in LP with many participants is something I'm not good enough at doing.

Re: KK NL$25 FTP Line Check

I would play it as you did. I had almost this exact hand last night where Villain had JJ.

AQs $2NL

Hey guys, I haven't posted a hand for a year, I think, so let's hope this comes out correctly: (EDIT: it was requested to post this in full ring in micro stakes)

I had no real reads here, but the...

AQs 2NL

Hey guys, I haven't posted a hand for a year, I think, so let's hope this comes out correctly:

I had no real reads here, but the last few hands no amount of raising seemed to be slowing people...

Re: AQ oop min raised on flop, turn he shoves.

Hand two I think is decided on the flop. If you call his re-raise, you can't fold to the deuce on the turn.

he min-raised pre-flop, then tried to get money into the pot with a minimum bet and...

PocketPairs with raise and caller

Hey guys, I haven't been playing for over a year. I have been back in the saddle lately (and doing well) but have a question for you.

What is your general response to a 5 BB raise with one caller...

Re: How would you handle AA here on the flop on button?

I raise more preflop, and...I dunno I guess I get stacked but I put him on a draw often enough to call the flop push.

Re: $2 -I need help on the turn.

I don't raise UTG pre-flop with AJ, suited or not.

I fold the turn.

Before his bet on the river the pot was 108 BB...you want to go to 108bb wars with AJ? Full ring, which is all I play, I...

Re: Flopped the nuts... bad turn, what\'s the plan?

I call, your lead out on the flop, followed by a c/c, he's betting any scare card. I call it, you win more than 25% of the time.

Re: Pocket 2s fang pre-flop 3-bet

Fold, I call 5 bb or so with pocket anything, but not going to the matresses with only ducks, anything is an overcard.

Re: JJ vs. an unknown

It's 4 bb bet on the flop (.20) and bb is .05, but I also raise and follow your logic post flop.

Flop: ($1.25)

This means you just limped, hoping for a re-raise. I never, ever limp with aces, I lose to an ugly two pair, sets, see 3-flush flops and all sorts of...

Re: $10 NL, JJ line check

OK, I see that, I just think better to be stronger on the flop...seems ideal. I'd be mad walking into a set, or overs, but the flop seems the only time I get him with the worst of it.

SO does anyone else smooth call this flop? Then you are betting the turn?

Re: $10 NL, JJ line check

if your going to raise the flop, just push. Don't leave yourself with a dollar back.

I'd probably flat call the flop, and see if he bets the turn. A lot of this depends on his...

Re: Buy in short to protect your bankroll!

Yeah, I know, I just usually end up doing it out of habit from before, when I didn't have confidence to make the choices when I had larger stacks against others. I wouldn't mind some of it when it...

Re: TPTK, nut flush draw.

Short term results are for day traders...I guess. They aren't for poker.

Nice hand, well done on pushing. Do it again.
