Ok i qualified for main event, what now when poker site support sucks!
 

ok so i qualified for the wsop main event through interpoker on the cryptologic network.

Nice package, which included the buy-in $3000 worth of accommodation and $2000 spending money and also free entry into another 2 tournaments if i get knocked out early on in main event.

So this all happened in late may, i ring up interpoker support the next day and ask why the $2000 has not been put into my account they explain to me what i have to do and i get the money in the next day, i then ask if i could have a bit more information on what if anything i now need to do regarding my registration etc...

This will be my first major tournament so i dont really have any idea how to go about things.

Mainly i want to know about the room i'm staying in, the website says we stay for 15 nights at the rio all suite, but that is all it says. I'd like to know if my girlfriend can stay in the suite for no extra charge.

I have sent probably 4 emails now regarding this each time i get told that my email is being sent to the management department and they will get back to me soon, but it has been 3 weeks now, if anyone knows how things work with the hotel rooms it would be great if you could let me know.

On a seperate note, is it worth me mentioning to the poker site that their $3000 worth of accommodation isnt infact $3000 as on the rio web site an entrant weekday price is $109 and an entrant weekend price is $199 adding up to a maximum of about $2200 as this money was in the prize pool should i not receive it as it seems to be a bit of a con to say it is $3000 worth of accommodation when it is not.

Anyway hope somebody can shed some light on this situation

You can pretty much bring whoever you want into your hotel room, but your girlfriend probably won't agree to any additional people.

Sweet package The best of the bunch. Its like when you win a car. They may say the prize is worth $30,000 Yeah they may have paid $25,000 but they get to say the retail value

My gf got the same package through William Hill and they have replied quickly to every question so far, although there's still no confirmation of a start date. I did tell her to make a fuss about the value of the accomodation, but before she got chance they'd already given her the $3000 in cash instead. She simply asked if there was an alternative as we'd already booked a house and they offered the money without any fuss at all.

Whether Inter will do the same for you is a different matter, as their support pretty much does suck and it clearly says in the T&Cs that the accomodation can't be exchanged, but if you want to push for it then you can say that you've heard that another skin did it for their player. Get the $3k, book the room yourself and keep the change - you know it makes sense...!

This is a superb package and well done on qualifying. The plus side to you getting it through Inter rather than another skin is that they also buy you into a second chance $1000 event, as well as the freeroll run by Oklahoma Johnny Hale at the Gold Coast if you bust before day 4. All Crypto qualifiers get the freeroll, but as far as I can see the $1000 event is only for Inter players.

cheers guys, i find out more info from 2+2 in a few hours than 3 weeks of emailing to the poker site, typical!

Nice to know that pretty much anyone can stay in the room, do you know anything about beds etc in the romm, i would imagine its a double, i looked at the harrah's website, but it wasnt great as the pictures were not very good, the room looked really big though, are there any links to details about the room other than harrah's homepage.

think i might try arranging my own accommodation altho as you say the terms and conditions do say i cant do that.

I'm in through SunPoker.

They claimed the package was worth $2500 (sounded about right to me). It's from the July 27th to August 11th in a Double Suite (2 Beds), sounds like the standard Crypto package.

PokerStars still hasn't told me where I'm staying or what day I start on.
I qualified May 3. COME ON DAMMIT

I quailified in Mid April and found out my start date early July...PS support is usually really good but you gotta get on them about it...I got my start day from Harrah's but still have'nt recieved my Hotel Confirmation...thought I woulda got it long time ago...not time to worry yet though.
